My books & films

Books and films, alongside and in synergy with my research activities.

Alongside and in synergy with my professional activities, I have written several books related to my passion for sharks — notably, in 2026, “Le requin singulier” (CNRS Éditions) and “Dans la tête d’un requin” (Éditions BELIN) — as well as, on environmentally responsible spearfishing, “La Chasse sous-marine moderne” (Éditions AMPHORA, 2018). In 2015, I co-wrote with the eminent Prof. Jean GUIART, anthropologist of Oceania, a book entitled “Requins d’Océanie”.

I have also directed short films, some of them awarded at international festivals, such as “À bout de souffle, la baleine bleue de Prony” and “Plasticos”. Finally, I directed several wildlife documentaries for television: “Corail à tout prix”, “L’île au dollar-fish”, “Petit poisson deviendra grand” (3×26′ for France TV), “La passe de tous les dangers” and “Chesterfield : oasis de la mer de Corail” (2×52′ for ARTE).
